Dr. Bal Krishan Sharma is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon with 20 years of clinical experience and 17 years dedicated to cardiothoracic surgery. He has performed and assisted in over 5,500 cardiothoracic and vascular operations on patients from Europe, Ireland, India and the Gulf region.
He holds a European Board Diploma in Cardiothoracic Surgery and is entitled to practice across Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain, and 24 other European countries.
He is the first Indian to be registered as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Ireland and among the youngest surgeons on the Irish Medical Council Specialist Register. His surgical journey spans pioneer centres in Sofia, Jaipur, Gurugram, Cork and Dublin — including 16 Heart Transplants, 43 Lung Transplants and 2 combined Heart-Lung Block Transplants at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin.
He holds a special interest in Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (MICS), VATS, and robotic mitral valve repair (Da Vinci), and is deeply committed to underprivileged patients in Rajasthan through PMJAY, BSBY, Chiranjeevi and ESIC schemes.
